We know hospitality because we have lived it.
Our Story
Admyn was started by two people who came up through hospitality the hard way.
Andrew and Nicola met working at a hotel in the Southern Highlands. Between them, they spent decades running pubs, clubs, hotels and accommodation venues, managing rosters, reconciling takings, dealing with stock loss, navigating award changes and keeping operations running through the chaos of a busy weekend service.
Andrew went back to study, completing a Bachelor of Accounting with a specialisation in digital accounting. Nicola moved into operations management for a hotel group, overseeing multiple venues across finance, systems and people.
When they started Admyn, the idea was straightforward. Hospitality venues deserve accountants and bookkeepers who actually understand the industry, not generalists who have to be taught what a DTS is, or why gaming reconciliations are different, or how a HIGA payroll works on a public holiday weekend.
That is still the idea today.
Andrew King
Andrew leads the accounting and bookkeeping practice at Admyn. With a background in hotel and club operations and a degree in digital accounting, he combines hands-on industry experience with the technical skills to keep your numbers accurate, your compliance obligations met and your reporting clear. Andrew is a registered BAS agent (No. 263349336), a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Xero certified.
Who we are?
Nicola Ragan
Nicola leads operations and client relationships at Admyn. Her background spans hotel operations management and hospitality training, with a specialisation in operations and compliance. She has spent years working with venue teams on the practical side of running a compliant, efficient operation, from DTS procedures and award compliance to AML/CTF obligations and management accountability. She understands the operational pressures that sit behind the numbers and is the person who has her phone on early Monday mornings.
What makes us different
We only work with hospitality venues. Not tradies, not retail, not professional services. Hospitality.
That focus means we stay current on every award change, every compliance update and every system that matters in this industry. You do not need to explain your business to us. We already know how it works.
We are remote-first and highly contactable. Most of our clients manage the relationship entirely online with weekly reports, regular check-ins and same-day responses to questions. When it genuinely adds value — onboarding, systems setup, quarterly reviews — we travel.
We do not lock you in. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees. You get a clear scope of services and a fixed weekly or monthly price. If your needs change, the engagement changes with them. If you ever want to move to another provider, we make the handover as smooth as possible.
Where we work
We work with hospitality venues across Australia with a particular focus on New South Wales, Queensland and Far North Queensland.
Regional venues are a core part of what we do. Many regional operators are underserved by accounting and bookkeeping firms that lack hospitality experience or are not set up for remote-first service. Admyn is built for exactly that model.
